As I’m sure you guys have already figured out, I’m a total beauty junkie – always trying new products from makeup and skin care to fragrance and hair care. I LOVE shopping in stores at Sephora, and equally love browsing the website and reading reviews. I’ve been testing a flurry of new products lately, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorites below.
OUAI Hair Oil
I have a very serious relationship with QUAI hair products and also a very serious girl crush on Jen Atkin (seriously, the minute she recommends something I’m running out to buy it). This hair oil is absolutely no exception! I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile and it has AMAZING reviews on Sephora.com. I finally gave it a chance and OH BOY am I glad I did. It totally calms frizz, hydrates and nourishes my hair and LET’S TALK ABOUT THE SCENT. It smells so pretty and luxurious. I usually work it through my ends after I blow dry, but it can also be used on damp hair and total bonus points because it doubles as an overnight hair mask. Buy this immediately!
TARTE Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette
I’m not much of an eyeshadow wearer, so this was kind of a weird purchase for me – but this palette really is too perfect to pass up. It includes shadow in Charmer (off-white), Jetsetter (warm taupe), Rocker (shimmering taupe), Smokeshow (black brown), Flower Child (peachy nude), Smarty Pants (tan), Firecracker (bronze copper), Activist (dark brown), Funny Girl (champagne), Sweetheart (peach), Rebel (chestnut brown) and Leader (aubergine). Each color is super pigmented, blends like a dream and dare I say, pure perfection. I use this for a pretty daytime eye whenever the mood strikes, but it’s also perfect for a soft smokey eye at night or for special occasions. Great for traveling and the packaging is adorable. This was totally an impulse buy but it ended up being worth it for this girl!
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream
IT Cosmetics was another brand I’ve been excited to try, but I was a little hesitant. I’ve been using the Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream for my under eye area lately and really love how refreshing it is – but I finally gave this one a chance and I have to say, so glad I did! I’ve only been using this for about a week now, but I’m happy to report it’s great both under makeup and on a bare face. It feels cool on the skin and I can definitely tell it’s hydrating my eye area and brightening dark circles. This will totally be a staple in my skin care routine going forward.
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment
Ok, I realize I’m getting on the bandwagon a little late (literally everyone uses this!) but let’s just talk about my new obsession real quick. I honestly was not having it with the hype on this stuff but then I received a sample and this changed my life. I cannot live without it. I’ve definitely been struggling with stress breakouts lately and this has slowly improved the clarity of my skin. It’s not the cure-all of course, but it has definitely become a very important part of my skin care routine. Also it’s really fun to snapchat while wearing this – I look hilarious.
TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
I’ve actually purchased this before but at almost $50 for a teensy tiny little bottle, it’s not easy to stock up. Basically it’s a magical elixir that makes you feel like a dewy, glowing goddess and I want to spray the whole bottle on my face all at once. Obviously that’s not realistic, I use this sparingly, but I do love it – it’s a great pick-me-up if you’re willing to pay the hefty price for luminous goddess skin.
Benefit Cosmetics High Brow Highlight & Lift Pencil
Let me start by saying brows are life. With that being said, this pencil is actually a really nice addition to any brow routine. Love love love. I had just been using my lightest concealer for a little brow highlight but this stuff does so much more! It’s super creamy and blends perfectly to give brows a visible lift and brightness. I was pleasantly surprised and would totally buy this again.
That’s all, folks! What beauty goodies have you scored recently? Tell me about them in the comments or hit me up on Instagram!
